The Pentatonics

The Pentatonics have done it again.

For anyone who was not feeling the Holiday Spirit this past Christmas, I’m quite sure if you heard this song, things would have been much different.  Any music lovers of today’s day and age have probably heard of the Pentatonics. If not, it’s time to stop living under a rock and educate yourselves.

The Pentatonics, comprised of five of the nation’s most talented young artists, is an a capella singing sensation comprised of Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, Avi Kaplan, and Kevin Olusola. They are known for taking great songs and making them even better. Their voices work together so well, nobody could ever look at the songs they’ve redone the same way again.

Three of the group members knew each other before the group was formed, but most people remember watching the group as a whole on NBC’s ‘The Sing Off’, where they took home Season 3’s award-winner spot.

Their YouTube channel alone has gained a whopping 155 million views, and over one million subscribers to date.

Below, you can see a spin on their version of Little Drummer Boy. Watch, and enjoy -you can thank me later.
