When you are stuck in the rut of life and struggling daily to make minor achievements, nothing is more annoying than having a friend or a person you grew up with who makes those life achievements and hits all the milestones with apparent ease. This is the case in Alexandria, State of Virginia, where a 30-year old lady is the source of frustration for her friends.
Ashley Canfield has achieved all that her friends and former schoolmates have not. She got married and is pregnant with her first child. Friends say she has got to slow down. She is a law school graduate who will not stop making major achievements. Ashley graduated from school and immediately landed a job. She has progressed steadily through the ranks over the years. Friends say she gets a promotion and new job titles every year and a half. Her entry into law school and the fact that she has graduated makes the friends even more frustrated.
Keeping up with Ashley has proven too much for some of her friends and they have decided to move at their own pace in life. Ashley has a car and lives in her own house-she moved out of a shared apartment years back. Her current house was bought jointly with her husband.
Ashley’s social life is not left out in the long litany of achievements. She is a godmother, is married-you know that by now, is pregnant, had a honeymoon in Hawaii and has a pet dog to boot. “Even when she lost her father, it was really obnoxious” said one of her friends.
Well, if this script fits your life, you have your friends worried about you and themselves. If it fits the life of a friend, then you know you are not alone, but the best thing would definitely be to progress through life at the pace you can manage.
