Sabadells TV prepared a tribute for the 130th  anniversary celebration for the foundation of the Banco Sabadells.  The name of the Sabadells TV’s campaign  is “Som Sabadell”.  The video begins with a little girl dropping some of her penny to one street musician’s tophat.  What she thought to be a simple musical presentation turned out to be a grand and magical presentation which was worth more than the value of her penny.

The video clip has already earned an astonishing 55 million views at Youtube since its upload last 2012 by their official Youtube account.  Banco Sabadell initially wanted to celebrate their 130th anniversary of founding with a bang and that is why they thought of paying homage to their city through the effort of their “Som Sabadell’ campaign.  Som Sabadell is Spanish for “We are Sabadell”.  Sabadell arranged a surprise classical flash mob at the wonderful plaza in Placa de Sant Roc in Sabadell, Spain as the final big blow to their campaign with a large group of people participating.  A total of 100 people as accomplices to their flash mob who generally came from the Valles Symphony Orchestra, Amics de l’Opera, the Lieder and Coral Arts choirs.  They group were playing to Beethoven’s Ode to Joy.  It was definitely an uplifting experience and the audience was really lucky to witness such a majestic performance to end their day!

The “Ode to Joy” by Friedrich Sciller which came from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony also happens to be the European Union’s anthem.  Happy watching and listening guys!
