Kanye West, famous rap performer, is on his concert tour around the world and every day he has to climb a big artificial mountain during the performance. Kanye says it is dangerous for his life, because he can slip off and fall down. In a radio interview he compared himself to a soldier at war or a policeman. The next day David Oliver, chief of Brimfield Police Department, sent an open letter to the rapper via Facebook.
He apologized for writing to such a great star and added he was not sure whether he has enough dignity to address Kanye West. David Oliver agreed with the singer that his job is very dangerous. Because when you rap fast and a lot, you can not breathe so you can smother. Police officer advised the singer to give up rapping and be a soldier and go to Afghanistan. David Oliver ironized that as if when Taliban wants to shoot the star, he must sing one of his songs and enemies will surrender. May be that is the only way to stop all wars in the world. Of course then he added it was pure sarcasm and in fact he doesn’t agree with such comparison.
David Oliver said that it is incorrect to compare people of show-business to those who risk their lives every day, to those who go to work in the morning and never know whether they would be back home
